FPSDC

Federation of Peoples’ Sustainable Development Cooperative (FPSDC) – Member since June 17, 1998

The Federation of Peoples’ Sustainable Development Cooperative (FPSDC) is a unique cooperative that brought together NGOs, POs, and cooperatives into one institution to become a sustainable financial mechanism for disadvantaged communities.FPSDC was incorporated in 1998 out of PDAP’s desire to make better use of its four-year old Central Loan Fund from the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) by creating a single and centralized lending program. From a mere program, it has metamorphosed to a network of PDAP’s affiliate organizations that decided to solidify their partnership to be a vehicle of drawing the marginalized sectors into the mainstream of development processes.
