On November 26-27, 2024, PDAP led the conduct of a Co-Development Workshop (CDW) with partners USAID, Bidlisiw Foundation Inc. – Philippines, Katilingban sa Kalambuan Org. Inc., Preda Foundation, Inc., IACAT Region Dos at the Le Charme Suites, Subic Bay Freeport Zone. The two-day activity focused on drawing out the accomplishments of partners in the implementation of prevention activities against trafficking in persons (TIP), delivery of protection and prosecution services for survivors, as well as building or strengthening partnerships towards improved prosecutorial and reintegration efforts, key pillars in countering TIP. In addition, specific plans and joint activities in the next three (3) years were presented and discussed, with USAID underscoring the importance of informing programmatic decisions with TIP survivors’ lived experiences. As part of the learning component of the workshop, PDAP facilitated visits in Barangay Barretto and PREDA Home for Girls, where participants directly engaged with barangay officials and survivors and learned about effective CTIP approaches.
