VALUE CHAIN FINANCING

Value Chain Financing for Collective Rural Social Enterprises (CRSEs) is a financing window for micro, small, and medium social enterprises (SE) dealing directly with CRSEs and/or farmers/fisherfolks that are into sustainable agriculture and/or agribusinesses preferably in Organic Rice, Muscovado Sugar, Seaweeds, Coffee, Coco-sugar, Adlai or Cacao.

Collective Rural Social Enterprises (CRSEs) are organizations:

owned or controlled by the marginalized sectors (i.e. poverty groups);
organized for profit;
managed in a financially-sustainable and socially-responsible manner; and,
engaged in the processing or marketing of products/goods using sustainable technologies.

General Description	1. Internally funded: extended directly to Social Enterprises dealing directly with CRSEs 2. Externally Funded: extended directly to CRSE’s and/or SE dealing directly with CRSE’s and/or farmers/fisherfolks.	Extended to like-minded organizations for on-lending to CRSES	Investments in eligible SEs in exchange for partial ownership and control
